Hearing Wellness Centre in Tecumseh, Ontario is in search of a Office Manager who wants to be part of a dynamic crew of people striving to help our community hear their best. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented, friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual, eager to join our client’s patient-centered and community-oriented practice, providing excellent support and contributing to the success of the team!

Responsibilities include:

• Performing accounting and billing functions for the practice
• Warmly greeting patients and other visitors
• Answering phones in a prompt and courteous manner as needed
• Maintaining excellent working relationships with patients, vendors, colleagues, etc.

Qualifications:

• Must be high school graduate. Prefer bookkeeper or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships with a diverse patient, colleague, and vendor population. This includes listening, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong background in insurance claims, including submitting appropriate information to insurance carriers, and requests third party authorization as needed.
• Must be able to organize time and prioritize numerous duties within strict deadlines.
• Requires the ability to deal with numerous interruptions.
• Must engage with patients in a caring and respectful manner.
• Must be detail oriented.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive pay (starting at $20-26 per hour DOE) plus potential for results-based compensation plan after 90-days of employment;
• Part-time schedule of approximately 20 hours per week with the potential for flexibility to meet the candidate’s needs;
• Paid holidays & paid sick days.
