We are seeking a Budgeting, Planning and Reporting Analyst. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled, experienced, and motivated accounting professional to join Heliene’s team. This position reports directly to the Controller and the location is flexible.
The position requires the individual to work closely with other departments such as sales, production, planning, engineering, and finance to ensure regular reliable reporting.
The position is remote or can work out of Sault Ste Marie, ON.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain the budgeting process through coordination with stakeholders across the organization.
· Perform variance analysis and provide budget variance reports
· Perform and maintain product costing through regular contact with purchasing department
· Develop methods catered towards continuous process improvements and areas of efficiency in the annual and monthly forecast processes
· Report with the use of data visualization tools
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (or equivalent combination of experience/degree)
· 3 years minimum of experience of working in a financial planning and analysis role
· Strong Microsoft Excel skills
· Experience working with ERP systems and analytical tools
· High proficiency working with Power BI
· Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central or Navision is a plus
· Strong understanding of databases
· CPA certification is an asset
· Solid working knowledge of IFRS is a plus
· Advanced knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes
· Outstanding communication and leadership skills
· Highly organized and detail oriented
· Analytical mind with excellent problem-solving abilities
· Ability to set priorities in a changing environment
· Work well under pressure
· Experience in solar, or other industrial products is a plus
