About the Role
We are looking for a Special Operations Manager to lead key strategic projects in launching and scaling new product lines. Reporting to the General Manager, you will work across all functions and teams within our business (supply chain, production, culinary, quality, ops tech, etc.), supporting our most pressing priorities. You will lead several projects at the same time, support core operations as needed, and proactively propose new projects and opportunities. You will:
Have end-to-end responsibility for strategic projects with high impact: identification of new opportunities, realization of business cases, and execution
Dive deep into different areas of our business – e.g. supply chain, production, culinary, quality, ops tech – to understand and solve complex problems, and improve decisions and processes
Create monitoring and management tools for various projects (timeline, budget, investments, etc.)
Help define, monitor and continuously improve key performance indicators across our business (e.g. error rate, cost structure, efficiency)
Lead expansion of new products, or of existing products into new markets
Support the core operations of different functions based on business need
Analyze data to identify initiatives to improve our operations and the daily customer experience, and to make recommendations to the senior leadership team
Organize workshops with various stakeholders to collect their inputs for your project, and manage stakeholder relationships to ensure commitment to your project and its timely delivery
At a minimum, you have:
An exceptional academic record with a degree in Engineering, Business (MBA), Analytics or a related field
At least 4 years of experience at a top tier management consulting firm, with a manufacturing company, or in a hands-on data-driven environment
Outstanding problem solving and communication skills
An advanced project management toolkit
The desire to excel in an unstructured and fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel

Hybrid Work Approach
At HelloFresh, we know that flexible work arrangements are essential in enabling you to do your best work, while balancing your personal and life needs. To meet those needs, we are pleased to provide a Hybrid Work Approach, which enables employees to work from home up to 50% of the time, and also work remotely (within Canada) up to four weeks per year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our HQ employees are primarily working remotely from home and we have the office open and available on a voluntary basis for employees who wish to work from there. Pending public health guidelines, we expect to return to the office using our Hybrid Work Approach. Employees will receive a minimum of one month’s notice of our Hybrid Work Approach taking effect and when employees will be expected to start work from the office.
