Summary: *
The Graphic Design & Digital Marketing responsibilities include creating visual concepts by hand or using computer software to communicate ideas that inspire/inform or captivate consumers, develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements/brochures/magazines/corporate reports, attending tradeshows local and overseas, ensure brand consistency online, support the work of the marketing team projects and campaigns. We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented web graphic designer to create and maintain a relevant aesthetic for our website.
To be successful as a web graphic designer you must have a good understanding of front-end and back-end coding to create functions that work and look appealing.

Job Duties:

• The full project life-cycle – from brief and pitch to usability and build

• Working from scamps or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
• Assisting the sales department
• Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture, attending events and engaging with the wider digital creative community
• Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to the team.
• An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (this could include Flash, After Effects and Illustrator)
• Knowledge/understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Proven understanding of typography, layout, colour and grid structures
• High attention to detail.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically and professionally at all time
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft computer software (e.g. Excel, Word, etc.) and email
• Prioritizes sustainability and the environment when engaged in business relations
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-year of graphic design and digital marketing work experience
• A formal degree or diploma from a reputable art college
• Have good knowledge of graphic designs and web coding
• Established portfolio of work to demonstrate your experience and ability
• Knowledge/experience hosting events, tradeshows, branding promotion and sampling
• Leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal & listening)
• Hard-working, proactive and a team player
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with other general computer skills
• Reduce environmental impact whenever possible

Work Conditions:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday availability
• Sitting/walking throughout the day
• Working on a computer for most of the day
• Travel to the site and off-site locations will be required
• Work both indoors and outdoors at tradeshows/demos
• Ability to work independently, as well as being a strong team player
• Have good attendance and safety record

Training
On the job training will be provided and evaluated upon completion.
