Short Description
Our Cinelease branch in Burnaby is looking for a Shop Supervisor to come and join their team. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse all while ensuring a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Coordinates rental orders that are loaded and makes certain the order is complete before leaving the shop.
Delegates sales and rental orders and stock checks to proper warehouse personnel
Coordinates equipment short lists with the rental agent and procurement agent.
When orders return, check all equipment to ensure it is in good condition and in working order; note any damaged or missing equipment for order.
Responsible for all sub-rental returns.
Instruct, assist, and train warehouse personnel in best practices of equipment safety and repair.
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations and streamline work processes.
Responsible for ensuring the various departments have all the parts and /or tools necessary to keep shop and warehouse activities always flowing smoothly.
Responsible for ensuring all warehouse personnel use and follow all safety rules and precautions in all departments.
Requirements
Maintain the Company’s safety culture, promotes a safe work environment and in compliance with all local safety regulations.
When there are no orders/shows being loaded, overseeing the warehouse personnel to be sure they are maintaining a clean shop and that all equipment is organized.
Responsible for opening and closing the shop and making sure everything is in order, shop is clean, all equipment is put away.
Double check all orders to be sure they are complete, and all equipment is in good working condition
Available for any other departments that require assistance.

Conditions of Employment
Must have a valid Driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
Previous warehouse supervisory experience
