Heritage Skills Development Center Looking for Online computer instructor at Scarborough, ON Full Time

We are looking for a dedicated individual with excellent knowledge and experience in computer and MS office applications; MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS Outlook and Internet etc., to instruct and assist with the development of trainees.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Teach students using a systematic plan of lectures, demonstrations, assignments
• Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students’ progress
• Provide individualized tutorial/remedial instructions
• Supervise independent or group projects and hands-on training
• May help revise curriculum and prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
• Have working knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Be able to work independently, and with instructions
• Knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and programs
• Have great verbal, presentation and listening communication skills

Qualifications and Skills

• A certificate, diploma or degree in computer science or related field.

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to communicate well with a diverse population and various learning abilities
• Positive and enthusiastic leadership with helping students of all ages to gain computer skills
