New Project Manager opening for our global client based in Quebec, Canada (remote)!

The Basics:

Remote anywhere in Quebec, Canada

Provide oversight and approval of drawings for the field assembly of prefabricated modular steel bridge and related products.

Prepare customer approved calculations, drawings, field erection drawings, and bills of material using computer-aided-drafting (CAD) equipment and design software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and approve drawings of low to mid complexity for field assembly of prefabricated modular steel bridge and related products using customer specifications, engineer’s specific instruction, standard engineering drafting procedures and/or references to similar completed projects.

• Utilize knowledge of construction practices, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials and other physical sciences to complete drawings. Drawings may be dimensioned in either Metric, US Customary or a combination of both units of measure.

• Implement drawing modifications to comply and complete a portion of a specific project or for entire project assignment.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in the English and French languages.

• Experience with AutoCAD LT or Mechanical computer-aided-drafting (CAD) ver. 2018 or higher to prepare technical drawings in two- and three-dimensional views.

• Ability to partner with Consulting Engineers, MOT Engineers, Sales, and customers to ensure field drawings meet design requirements.

• Strong understanding of drafting terminology, abbreviations, symbols, dimensioning techniques, and procedures.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering and 4+ years industry experience in design-related discipline or a combination of education, skills, and experience
