What you’ll do on a typical day:
Communicate with customers, the operations team, and drivers to ensure smooth operations.
Recognize and resolve documentation errors.
Assist drivers with shipment and trip information relative to assigned orders.
Process shipments and trips to ensure on-time service to our customers.
Source and book loads on Load link
Negotiate rates on loads and book contracts with customers.
Communicate any issues with customers and the operations team.
Create lasting relationships with customers, drivers, and coworkers.
Book Pick up & Delivery appointments and assure they are made on time.
Enter & Update order info in the Dispatch software.
Provide updates on in-transit loads.
Resolve any issues as they arise.
What you need to succeed in this role
At a minimum, you’ll need:
5 years of related Trucking industry work experience.
Strong computer and typing skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office.
Good communication skills.
Availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends if needed.
A solid book of contacts in the industry.
