We are currently looking for an experienced software architect, to fill a full-time Identity Security Lead position our in Professional Services Department. The incumbent will have an opportunity to work remotely and can be located anywhere within Canada.
In this position, the incumbent will serve as a Sr. Solution Architect, as well as utilize their leadership and mentorship skills to oversee the professional development and success of the members of their team, made up of multi-disciplinary software professionals such as Systems Integrators and other Software Architects.
The Identity Security Lead will plan, design and implement Hitachi ID Systems’ Identity and Access Management software solutions in customer environments, world-wide and implement a wide range of systems and platforms.
This is a hybrid role, requiring a mix of technical experience as a Solution Architect , implementing complex cybersecurity solutions for multiple customers as well as leadership qualities. The incumbent is expected to be customer-facing for about 1350 hours per year (~65%).

Oversee professional development of the team members by:
Performing periodic reviews
Identifying paths to development in key areas
Assigning training and educational courses as needed
Perform periodic 1 on 1 meetings with team members
Periodically review alignment to key performance indicators
Identify and resolve conflicts and issues within your team
Serve as escalation point for project managers and other team members
Participate in the hiring process, providing feedback on the candidates in technical tests and interviews
Works with other Team Leads to communicate on common departmental issues, areas for development and improvement, standards and expectations, other metrics
Solution Architect Responsibilities:
Discover and analyze existing business processes, advise on best practices
Work with customers to identify the roadmap to a successful Identity and Access Management practice, maximizing customer value at every stage of the process
Plan and document implementation phases on the developed roadmap
Lead the project team to implement required functionality
Codify business policies (as script logic or on-screen policies)
Implement integrations with pre-existing systems and applications
Map data between systems and automating data flows
Modify HTML+CSS+JS user interfaces as needed
Review product usability
Perform unit, regression and stress tests
Migrate from one product version or one integration to the next
Other systems architecture responsibilities as needed
Works with customers to ensure their success in developing and implementing Identity and Access Management best practices.
Works with other members of the Professional Services team like Solution Architects, System Integrators, Project Managers.
Reports to a Project Manager in the context of a specific project.
Works with Support, Development, QA, and Documentation teams to identify and resolve any issues that might arise with implementations.
Works with Account Managers and Sales Engineers to gather context for a given customer.

Required Work Experience and Skill Qualifications:
5+ years of full-time work experience managing enterprise-scale systems and/or implementing complex applications in Identity and Access Management or Privilege Access Management space.
5+ years of experience with the following technologies:
Active Directory/LDAP
Windows servers
HTML/CSS/Javascript
Python
SQL
Virtualization platforms like Hyper-V or Xen
Networking
Experience supervising a team of professional services members is a big plus.
Experience implementing projects from start to finish including scoping, planning, design, documentation, implementation, etc.
Experience in a consulting role is a strong benefit.
Required Education and Training Qualifications:
CISSP certification
Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering

Excellent time management skills allowing to:
Identify potential issues with project delivery earlier in the process
Learn from past experiences and come up with new strategies of managing and delivering projects more efficiently

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Nice to Have):
Experience with Cloud technologies like Azure/Google Cloud/AWS
Experience with Object-Oriented Programming
Experience with SIEM systems such as Splunk or ELK stack
