The role of the IT Operations Coordinator is to support operational activities in the IT department, including hardware and software procurement, asset management, report generation on IT systems, license compliance and softwarehardware contract renewals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitor various softwarehardware maintenance contracts to ensure that contract renewals are completed on time and to ensure accuracy
Liaise with hardware and software vendors to request quotes as needed
Purchase approved hardware and software for the organization
Monitor delivery of hardware and software and liaise with Team Lead, Supervisors and Director as needed for deployment
Order wireless devices (smartphones, pagers etc.) from vendors and manage invoice approval process
Conduct inventory auditing for hardware assets
Perform software auditing as requested to ensure license compliance
Create Intranet content for the IMT intranet site to provide Holland Bloorview staff with answers to frequently asked questions related to hardwaresoftware purchasing and policies
Contribute to the overall content and layout of the IMT intranet site
Conduct research on technology products as directed by Director, Information Technology & Security
Enter all software and hardware serial numbers or identification into database ensuring that it is up-to-date, accurate and auditable
Review usage surveys and provide summary details to managers
Other duties as assigned
