As the Community Engagement & Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing our brand across Ontario, which includes developing active management of our social media, PPC campaigns, SEO, marketing materials and driving growth through a referral-based sales model for our private home care services.
In this role you are responsible for traditional & digital marketing, and promotional activities related to building awareness for our services. We are looking for highly driven individuals who are motivated to exceed monthly performance targets.

Responsibilities:
Communications
Prepare and monitor communications as assigned by the Managing Director.
Communications will include:
internal and external correspondence
advertising
newsletters
marketing materials
creation of basic graphics, logos, and branded materials
updates to website
daily social media updates
internal and external presentations
Produce a range of compelling written materials, including emotive stories, social media posts, press kits and web-based content.
Assist the Managing Director with media management, relationship cultivation, and pitch news stories as needed.
Assist in sourcing and execution of service contracts with municipalities, organizations, and communities as necessary
Community Engagement and Events
Monitor and organize assigned Home Concierge events to ensure effective implementation and execution.
Assist with the planning and execution of internal organizational events.
Prepare event related promotional materials – media releases, public service announcements, brochures, posters, advertising, and other materials as assigned.
Act as a representative of Home Concierge at community events, conferences and be able to present programs and services at speaking opportunities.
Assist in the preparation of collateral materials
Develop a thorough knowledge of organizational mandate, programs, and services.
Digital Marketing & Search Engine Optimization
Identify, create and leverage content to share on our social platforms
Prepare and maintain an annual content calendar
Daily posting on social platforms
Monitor competitive channels and provide insights and inspire new ideas
Design and write compelling social media content independently and in collaboration with business development and people development team
Implement and manage all digital advertising and monitor audience sentiment
Focus on KPIs via Google, Facebook & Instagram
Focus on key areas of growth including increasing website traffic to increase form submissions, inquiries and employee recruitment
Creation and deployment of digital advertisements – target audiences, retarget audiences
A&B Testing
Monthly reporting of KPIs with insights and optimization strategies
Qualifications:
BA + Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations Certificate
2-5 years’ experience as a social media admistrator, or social media analyst
Hands on experience in content management
Excellent copywriting, communication, analytical and multitasking skills
Experience using Meltwater and/or Hootsuite
Strong working knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Tiktok. Up-to-date on algorithm and platform changes and proactively inform teams of their impact
Proven ability to contribute to the growth and increased engagement of social audiences
Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
An aptitude for living and breathing social media content. You love keeping on top of the news, current events and changing trends
An understanding of social communities and cultural differences, as well as the ability to communicate with a wide variety of audience members
Experience with SEO tools, Google Analytics, AdWords considered an asset
Experience in website building, design, and management is considered an asset
