Hoskin Scientific Limited, for over seventy-five years, has been a proven supplier of testing and monitoring instrumentation across Canada. With offices in Vancouver, Edmonton, Oakville, and Montreal we focus on three major markets: Geotechnical & Materials Testing, Environmental Monitoring, and Test & Measurement Instrumentation.

The Hoskin Geotechnical & Materials Testing Department consults with clients on many lines of industrial testing equipment for laboratory and field work. The majority of sales are repeat business to long term clients. It makes for a friendly and fun working environment.

We are looking for an experienced Sales/Account Manager to work in our Oakville office location, servicing Ontario and Eastern Canada. We are seeking a person who is naturally motivated with an upbeat personality who would be interested in working into a team leader role.

Regular daytime working hours Mon – Fri. This is largely an IN-OFFICE position with some visits weekly to customers and prospective customers.

• Proven analytical/problem solving solutions for the customer and the company.
• Computer proficiency in Windows, CRM and Microsoft applications is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Working with the Geotechnical & Materials Testing sales team selling to, and servicing the consulting, construction and research sectors in Ontario and east.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Updating customers on new products and technology.
• Providing solutions to customers’ needs in person, virtually and over the phone.
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
• Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
• Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
