What to Expect:

Reporting directly to the Director, HR, you will be leading the labour relations and hourly recruitment process to champion HR practices in alignment with Nestlé Purina people objectives. This mid-career position offers the unique opportunity to be a key business partner to our distribution centre teams and head office operations, ensuring excellence in HR support and employee relations.

A day in the life:

• Provide guidance and support on employee relations, policy interpretation, and investigations.
• Lead end to end recruitment cycle for Distribution Centre roles including posting jobs, screening & interviewing candidates, preparing job offers.
• Support annual HR cyclical programs including talent review and performance review process
• Facilitate the employee recognition program, wellness program and other HR driven initiatives
• Responsible for preparing employee letters and providing essential support for all aspects of employee life cycle administration.

What you will bring:

• 3+ years of HR experience. Working in a unionized environment is an asset.
• Degree/certificate in Human Resources Management
• Working knowledge of provincial labour laws and practices
• Enjoy working collaboratively with cross-functional groups
• An eye for detail and mastered the ability to maintain a high level of integrity when handling confidential and sensitive information
• Technically savvy and know your way around the Microsoft Office Suite and HR systems
