The Role: We are seeking a Manager, HR Operations to join our team.
Location: Windsor, ON. We offer full time in-office and hybrid flexibility.

As a Manager, HR Operations, you will bring our purpose to life everyday. How? By executing on a human resources strategy at Hub Customer Central (HCC) and operationalizing the strategy to bring great ideas to life.
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources, you will be responsible for managing the HR Operations (HR Ops) team and the end-to-end HR processes for all roles at HCC. You will implement the HR Ops strategy and ensure our employee experience is best in class. You will provide recommendations on our current and future processes, tools, systems, reporting and benchmarks. You will champion HR services within client groups and will be a true partner to client groups on a broad range of organizational issues of critical importance to the business.
You will be the expert who will bring market intel and best practices to the table and help build plans to operationalize the strategy. Your work will have a significant impact on overall operations by ensuring our teams are fully equipped with the best HR programs and resources available to focus on what they do best – champion employee performance and engagement!
The Manager, HR Operations will:
Manage HR Operations for HCC, consisting of almost 600 employees across Canada.
Implement HR strategies that are aligned with the business, in the focus areas of Talent Management, Employee Engagement, Total Rewards/Compensation, HR Systems, and Core HR Operations.
Partner with business leaders to understand and to develop their solutions in a regional capacity for HCC in ways that help drive the business forward.
Manage, coach, and develop team of direct reports.
Drive performance and ensure HR Operations team is meeting business objectives.
Build trusted relationships with business leaders, managers, vendors, suppliers, partners, and the broader local and regional HR teams to foster partnership throughout the employee life cycle.
Conduct compensation conversations with HCC Talent Acquisition teams + hiring managers to ensure internal and external equity.
Plays a key role in supporting leaders to raise the bar on employee engagement and creating a great place to work. Builds and drives an employee value proposition to build a culture of accountability, winning, and collaboration.
Champion diversity and inclusion (D&I) efforts locally in partnership with Corporate
Delivers coordinated human resources services across multiple offices
Track HR operations metrics to determine efficiencies and areas for improvement – provide updates to executive leadership.
To be successful as a Manager, HR Operations, you will need:
5+ years of years of experience in a senior HR generalist capacity working in a fast-paced and high growth environment.
2+ years leading HR operational teams.
Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business administration or equivalent experience.
Strong experience with HRIS and Payroll software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday), and large cloud-based system integration software.
A rational, confident, and mature approach to decision making and inspires trust and confidence in business partner relationships.
Well-developed critical thinking and analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.
High sense of urgency with strong orientation towards customer support.
Understanding the dynamics of a matrix organization.
Strong MS Office Skills (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
Effective management of national and provincial complexities.
Self-starter, goal-oriented, quick learner, and ambitious.
Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
Ability to articulate data and market trends to help inform strategy
Bilingual French/English considered an asset.
Experience in the financial sector/insurance industry across Canada an asset.
