Human Force Group Looking for Vehicle Inspector Supervisor at Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We are looking for a Vehicle Inspector Manager to join one of our clients in Etobicoke, ON.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience as a vehicle inspector or manager, preferably in a car dealership setting.
• Ability to perform and document vehicle inspections and report any damages or issues
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Examine vehicles for visual damage
• VENDOR MANAGAMENT EXPERIENCE
• Deliver feedback to the assembly team to clearly explain deficiencies and how to correct them
• Release vehicle through an Excel document emailed via Outlook
• Duties include, checking in, evaluating, grading and writing condition reports on vehicles .
• Other duties may apply assisting with yard responsibilities, assisting in detailing vehicles, declaring personal belongings left in vehicles by recording information, collecting and storing
• May be required to drive in the auction on sale days
• Carry out inspections on various motor-vehicles including classic cars (1950s – 1960s), motorbikes, tractors, combine harvesters
• Perform mobile inspections at various client sites
• Correctly record and enter data into computer systems, via PDA, Laptop or Tablet

Responsibilities:

• As a leader, you’ll be expected to train, motivate, and set expectations with your team.
• Maintain safety and ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Participate in workplace organization.
• Maintain and order supplies when they are getting depleted.
• Recognizing deadlines and adhere schedule.
• Receive daily and prioritize detailing schedule and communicate back when expected timelines.
• Make repairs and recommendations for vehicles to Service Advisor staff.
• Maintain shop equipment and tracked shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain relationships with customers, valuable suppliers, and outside contractors.
• Attend shop meetings to gain knowledge.
• Run the POS system and complete Work Orders/Customer Transactions.
• Assist when required in training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
• Prepare employee work schedules.
