We, the Educational Support and Digital Innovations team (ESDI) within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellness (FHSW), are looking for an enthusiastic instructional designer to join our team for a full-time, six-month contract, on a range of our online course development projects. The candidate will need to have a wide range of creative capabilities, be able to meet deadlines in a high-pressure environment and work effectively with a team as well as independently and virtually.
Our team works within the FHSW to create online asynchronous courses and digital teaching tools. The instructional designer will help drive the creative execution of tasks and projects related to course development by applying their understanding of content layout and design, instructional design principles, pedagogical best practices, and educational theory while helping the team develop the best work possible.
