We are looking for an organized individual who will enable our business to gain insights in a more timely and accurate manner. You will be a key member of our growing Finance team and will own processes involving data entry, data analysis, and reporting.

What will you be doing as a Finance Administrator?
Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will play an integral part in the organization and maintenance of key databases. You will be working to deliver information to leadership while collaborating and supporting other teams. This is a great opportunity to learn and help build the foundation of the Finance team of a fast growing startup.
Inputting Benefits Commissions statements into our database
Preparing the monthly and quarterly commissions for internal staff
Preparing Partnership commissions
Assisting the Support team with client billing communications
Assisting with Accounts Receivable reach out and management
In your first 30 days, you will:
Understand the business environment we operate it
Learn most of the tools you will be operating in
Understand the timelines and reporting requirements that your work will feed into
In your first 60 days, you will:
Assist with inputting carrier statements into the database
Assist with the calculation of internal commissions
Assist with the calculation of partner commissions
In your first 90 days, you will:
Understand the flow of information and the key role your tasks play in that process
Own the data entry process for carrier commission statements
Prepare monthly commissions for internal and external parties
Assist with the Accounts Receivable management process
In your first year, you will:
Have contributed to data timeliness & quality at the organization
Enable the team to close our accounting books faster
Contribute to a more efficient accounts receivable process, ensuring the business gets paid on time
Support the year-end closing process
What are we looking for in a Finance Administrator?
You have a keen eye for detail and have great organizational skills
You are a curious individual who wants to understand if something doesn’t make sense
You have some experience with data entry and improving processes
You have the ability to problem solve and work within ambiguity
You are highly proficient in advanced functions in Microsoft Excel
You are a self-starter that has a can-do attitude who has the ability to pick up new information quickly and work through ambiguity
Nice to Have Skills:
You have previous experience within a Finance team in a growing company
You have previous experience working with Stripe, AirTable, Xero or similar tools
