Some responsibilities include:
- Front-line administrative support including answering telephones and greeting/checking in patients, scheduling appointments.
- Assisting with the ordering of diagnostic imaging tests, referrals to other specialists.
- Input incoming referrals and contacting patients with appointments, providing reminder calls.
- Transcribing office consults and progress notes.
Requirements:
- Proficient with computer use.
- Experience using EMR (Telus Health- Practice Solutions) an asset.
- Able to manage time efficiently and multi-task, prioritize duties.
- Strong organization and communication skills in person and over the phone.
- Respectful of confidential and sensitive information.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to learn and enhance knowledge within the medical field.
- Medical administrative diploma required.
- Experience with medical transcription an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Salary: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
