The ideal candidate should be bilingual, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. The candidate should enjoy taking on new challenges and excel in an environment with significant responsibilities. The candidate will be responsible for service, marketing, operational and administrative functions as assigned by the Advisors.
This position requires excellent interpersonal skills and phone demeanor, Microsoft Office experience, extraordinary client service skills, attention to detail, technological literacy, and ability to multi-task. The ability to interact professionally with high-net-worth clients is a must as is the ability to maintain and protect client privacy and confidentiality.
Here’s what you can expect from the position and what you need to be successful:
Position Responsibilities:
· Support the advisors in various administrative tasks including, client account maintenance, opening new accounts and relationship management
· Assist client requests for information (set up online access, banking information, prepare reports etc.)
· Preparing written summaries of branch monthly meetings
· Communicate directly with clients to organize appointments
· Assist clients with account maintenance and updates and all administrative requirements
· Work directly with head office personnel, mutual fund companies and insurance companies for any client needs or services
· Organize the team’s calendar
· Coordinate marketing, lunches, dinners, and event planning initiatives
· Ability to respond to e-mails and communications in a timely manner
· Excellent verbal and communication skills in both French and English
Essential skills:
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial services industry, ideally having worked in wealth management
· Must have completed the CSC course or in the process of completing CSC course
· Ability to handle many tasks at once and stay extremely organized
· A willingness to learn and grow in a stimulating environment
· Outside the box thinker to disrupt processes that are inefficient
· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
· Education: Completion of Cegep required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
