Job Description
IBI Group’s dynamic Talent Acquisition team is looking for a Campus Recruiter to join us.
The Campus Recruiter will be responsible for supporting our Campus Connext program. You will be accountable for a personalized and high-touch candidate experience, sourcing and recruiting qualified junior to senior level co-op and intern candidates from top Canadian and US Universities and Colleges. The successful candidate is also responsible for the student experience at IBI Group, developing and maintaining relationships with Campus Career Centers and faculty, representing the firm’s brand and image on campus, and serving as a the main point of contact for our students.
Most of the things you’ll work on:
All campus recruitment related tasks; Posting approved jobs at specific target schools, pre-screening applications for hiring managers, phone screening candidates when applicable, coordinating in-person or video interviews for all student roles, and preparing and extending student offers letters
Manage the student Experience: Student onboarding activities, organize and facilitate student orientation (virtual and in-person events), conduct Hiring Manager training every term to communicate expectations of program, coordinate student mentorship program, conduct one on one meetings with students throughout the work term
Tracking all campus related metrics for the regions/client groups you are responsible for supporting
Promote and facilitate student conversions
Act as primary campus recruiting point of contact for key client groups in your regions
Other campus related tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications
You’ll need to have:
A Bachelor’s Degree with four plus years of relevant Campus Recruiting or Human Resources experience
Experience recruiting for campus roles in both Canada and the United States is preferred
An understanding and experience in coordinating on-campus recruiting events, liaising with Career Centers, Student Clubs and Associations
An understanding of campus processes and familiarity with campus administration, schedules and constraints
Experience using Handshake considered an asset
Proficiency in the following competencies: ability to attract and retain talent, developing an understanding of the business, and building relationships
Demonstrated experience in: data analytics and audits, market intelligence and event planning
Strong planning and organizational skills, this position will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, identifying key messages and deliverables against agreed upon partnerships
Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
Previous experience in the Architecture and Engineering space is considered an asset
Knowledge and application of recruitment/placement laws and practice in Canada and the USA
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Our teams are currently working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic and will be for the foreseeable future. We are following the provincial procedures before considering returning to the office. On a weekly basis, managers have touch base meetings with their teams to discuss the progress of projects or any issues that they have encountered.
