Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Transportation Engineer, Engineer-in-Training, or Technologist, with 3 to 7+ years of work experience, for our Downtown Toronto Campus.
This position will oversee technical staff on multiple transportation impact study projects and provide technical support and services to the Transportation Engineering / Transportation Planning team, helping define the cities of tomorrow.
Qualifications
- Overseeing technical staff across multiple projects, including -project coordination to ensure that projects get done in a timely manner
- Balancing priority tasks effectively
- Conducting regular check-ins to keep appraised of progress and catch any concerns early-on
- Completing reviews of technical assessments throughout the life of the project
- Ensuring the appropriate quality of work is being met within the given time frame Reporting to Project Managers, updating them on project progress.
- Attending proposal and project coordination meetings
- Updating Project Managers on project progress
Additional Information
We are currently in a work from home model during COVID-19, but when we do return to the office we are located at 55 St. Clair Ave West, this office is steps away from St. Clair station and is easily accessible by bike, TTC and car. Occupying 7 floors, with over 700 employees, it is the largest office at IBI Group. The floors are open concept and represent our collaborative approach to projects. You’ll have direct access to management while benefitting from our enthusiastic and helpful organizational resources team.
