Vehicle Settlement Representative

Position Highlights
As a Vehicle Settlement Representative, you will be required to inspect, research and evaluate the actual cash value of total loss
vehicles and present the value to the customer for acceptance. This requires subject specific knowledge combined with
excellent customer service and interpersonal skills as you deal with sensitive and at times difficult issues relating to vehicle
values with occasionally frustrated individuals.
Hours of operation vary depending on facility and location. This role will require you to work either a 9-day fortnight with either
Monday or Friday off. Shift schedule will be dependent on seniority. No shift is guaranteed.

Position Requirements
The following experience is essential:
- Automotive knowledge including knowledge of values and relevant data sources
- Demonstrated research abilities and strong computer skills are essential to search out a wide variety of data relating to the
vehicle in order to determine the settlement value.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- High school graduation and several years’ experience in automotive sales or other related fields. We will consider an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
- The ability to meet the provincially legislated requirements of the Criminal Records Review Act, and a valid BC driver’s license.
