Role Description:
The Scrum Master supports teams to achieve their delivery and product objectives and further their proficiency with Agile. It is the Scrum Master’s role to facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and focus the team despite external distractions. The Scrum Master brings the Product Owner and team together and facilitates moving work forward. This individual is a people coach for team members, facilitator, and an innovator who constantly seeks continuous improvement and to build successful teams.
Responsibilities:
Build and coach high performing teams
Look for ways to strengthen teams understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts and principles.
Facilitate ceremonies, sprints, and steward team backlogs per Scrum standard methodology.
Support transparency and performance reporting for teams.
Lead sprint and product increment planning for teams.
Ensure teams actions are aligned with the product goals/vision
Ensure Scrum practices are used and improved within and across teams
Bringing transparency to Business and IT organization about development and grow trust
Identify trade-offs between short and long terms benefits to drive shared vision between the team and product owner
Foster a continuous learning environment helping teams to inspect & adapt
Requirements:
Four or more years of relevant work experience with Agile and Scrum
Spanish speaking is a requirement
Experience leading in-person and remote teams of 8-12 people
Knowledgeable about various Agile methodologies and experienced in coaching Scrum and Kanban teams
Delivery or software development background
Strong communication skills – able to propagate information promptly, clearly, and unambiguously
Team Leadership – experiences in assessing how the team is doing and driving necessary actions to improve
Able to develop and foster teamwork and facilitate team dynamics
Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to coach and mentor
Skilled in building relationships and navigating through organizations
An ideal candidate will also have technical experience working with various technology stacks and coaching development teams
Spilled in Azure DevOps or similar tool
Nice-to-have:
A certified Scrum Practitioner (CPS) or Certified Scrum Coach (CSC) is an asset
Certification in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is an asset
