We are seeking a talented and creative Industrial Designer to join our team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative products that meet our clients’ needs and requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and manufacturable. The ideal candidate has a strong passion for design, excellent problem-solving skills, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and prototypes for new products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project goals
- Conduct market research to identify current design trends and consumer preferences
- Create 2D and 3D models of product designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders and gather feedback
- Modify designs based on feedback and ensure that all specifications are met
- Work closely with engineers and manufacturers to ensure that designs are manufacturable and cost-effective
- Conduct usability tests and gather user feedback to refine designs
- Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a related field
- Proven experience as an Industrial Designer or a similar role
- Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino
- Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics
- Excellent sketching and visualization skills
- Strong creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Portfolio showcasing previous design projects and concepts
