The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a part-time Document Controller/Administrative Assistant for 3-6 hours per day. This position will be remote (work from home) following the initial training in our downtown office. If you are highly detail-oriented, thrive in a fast-paced, communicative environment, and like dad jokes, this is the perfect role for you! Additional hours may be available during busy periods.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure documentation control capability meets the requirements of the business, customer, and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure internal and external documentation deliveries align with integrated project schedule requirements.
· Analyze client and regulatory document specifications and ensure internal document quality exceeds customer expectations.
· Form effective internal and external customer relationships to ensure robust understanding of documentation status.
· Encourage continuous improvement of the documentation control function across the business.
· Coordinate with the project team the identification of all deliverables, sequence of all activities and tasks necessary to complete the deliverable.
· Maintain up to date documentation measures and reports; ensuring resultant data is used to improve performance.
· Plan, coordinate, and safely execute all phases of complex projects while ensuring reliability, quality and delivery.
· Time entry and other data entry tasks.
· General electronic filing and administrative support.
· Maintain confidential files.
· Support proposal development including compiling résumés and collecting/formatting data.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Document control experience 1-2 years
· Customer service focused
· Proficient with SharePoint
· Advanced skills with Microsoft Office
· Detail-orientated
· Excellent organizational skills
· Experience working in an Engineering environment an asset
