Are you passionate about working with the latest and greatest Suzuki Motorcycles, Can-Am ATV, Ski-doos, Sea-doos, and Can-Am Side by Side, Can-Am Spyders and Rykers, Sea-doo Switch Pontoon and Manitou Pontoons?

MOTOR SPORTS WORLD is looking for a customer-focused and technical-minded Technician/Mechanic to join their growing servicing team in Ottawa! If you are mechanically inclined and have a solid understanding of watercrafts, snowmobiles, ATVs and motorcycles, we want to hear from you!

The main responsibilities and tasks of this role will include:

• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and ensures the timely and effective repair of any problems identified during an inspection.
• Performs proficient inspection, diagnosis and moderately complex repair of assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Provides assistance, guidance and direction to the team of PDI technicians and apprenctices
• Estimates time and material costs on repairs and requisitions new parts.
• Advises service advisor immediately if additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the Standard Repair Times (SRTs).
• Inspects the quality of outside/supplier repairs and or rebuilds.
• Assesses structural damage and assigns needed repairs utilizing the most appropriate method(s).
• Conducts safety checks on vehicles.
• Performs maintenance related work as required.
• Installation of accessories on vehicles and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
