At Infinera, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. Your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role may be eligible for equity grants, discretionary bonuses, or commission payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company’s incentive plans, the Company’s financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.

Title: Coherent Optical Systems Architect

Job Description
As a coherent optical systems architect, you will work with the CTO of the Optical Modules and Coherent Solutions Business Unit at Infinera to define the next generation of our digital coherent pluggable modules and high-speed component business’. The engineer will work on numerical and analytical modelling of the performance of next generation technologies, with a clear focus on solution sets that meet our end customer requirements. You will work closely with the core engineering groups that are response for the design and development of Infinera’s next-generation coherent photonic integrated circuits (PICs), analog drive ASICs and Flex Coherent DSP ASICs. Sophisticated simulation platforms guide major design decisions and serve as invaluable feedback to cross-functional design teams and end customers throughout the entire development cycle of Infinera’s next generation optical engines.
