Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Business System Analyst to join one of our clients located locally in Vancouver, BC. This is a permanent, full-time role that would require you to be on-site 1x/week. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 5-years of relevant experience as a Business System Analyst. This role will require you to be a subject matter expert with the platform “Destiny One.” Experience working with Destiny One would be a significant asset, however, it is not a must have requirement. You will be expected to collaborate with various groups including developers, QA Analysts, functional experts and project specialists. Additionally you will be working cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders such as IT management, staff, administration, vendors, and regulatory agencies. The role will require you to manage the requirements and upgrades to the Destiny One platform and how that will impact downstream stakeholder groups. This information will be used to make the necessary changes to ensure a seamless integration of these updates. You will also be coordinating with the testing team, vendors, and providing change management, training and communication support. Lastly, the role will require you to develop business requirements documents, solutions requirement documents and functional requirements.
Skills and Requirements
A minimum of 5-years of experience as a Business System Analyst
Experience working within the public sector
Strong experience maintaining and updating an enterprise application
Has previously planned and lead analysis of business needs and the development of overall strategies
Documented current state business processes, uncovered issues and opportunities to understand proposed future state, and captured gaps to achieve the state of an enterprise application to ensure optimal functionality – Has worked within the Destiny One platform previously
Has worked within the high education sector null
