Position Summary
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you play an integral role in ensuring that our patients and referring physicians are comfortable and welcomed into Insight Medical Imaging. As the first point of contact you will set the tone for our patient interactions, as such we expect that you will enter every interaction with respect and dignity by providing every caller with clear, detailed, and timely information.
This is a remote position and will require you to work from home in a distraction free environment.
This position works a rotational schedule of 40 hours per week primarily consisting of shifts 10:30am to 7:00pm Monday through Friday. Rotation may also include weekends and Stat holidays as required.
Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Provide professional, courteous and timely patient care to all patients and physicians.
Check incoming Faxes and contact Physicians and Patients for medical Imaging appointments.
Call out to patients as directed by the Patient Care Manager to rebook, confirm or fill appointments as required.
Liaison with the Medical Receptionist(s), Patient Care Manager, Clinic Supervisors and Site Leads, and Coordinators as required to ensure timely patient care.
Attend team meetings and information sessions in the Department and within the organization as required.
Provide valuable feedback in the Development and implementation of protocols as directed by the Patient Care Manager and other administrative staff within the Organization.

Qualifications
High School Diploma-Required.
Medical Assistant Diploma or Medical Terminology Certificate with a minimum of 1-year experience in related field. Equivalencies will be considered.
High Volume Contact Center Experience is required.
Knowledge of customized computer software is required.
