We are currently hiring a full-time Junior Recruiter. Led by a team of former admissions committee officers from some of the most prestigious universities, Inspira’s mission is to democratize access to higher education across millions of deserving students in the world, so that their education and life outcomes do not get determined by a zipcode or resources of their high schools. Inspira has thus built one of the deepest benches of admissions counselors in the world who support candidates with all the aspects of their application process and help them position the best version of themselves.

We have seen tremendous growth and we recently raised our Series A financing from leading Silicon Valley investors including Craft Ventures, David Sacks (Founding Member of PayPal), Jeff Fluhr (Co-Founder and CEO of Stubhub), Kygo, and other prominent angel investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full cycle recruitment process from creating job postings, sourcing and screening candidates, participating in interviews, checking references, verifying background checks, and preparing offer letters for successful candidates
- Identify and implement recruitment strategies to effectively source and recruit specific skill sets
- Participate in the implementation of new and existing recruitment initiatives such as virtual career fairs, and targeted electronic advertising through social media to maximize the pool of potential candidates
- Manage all external job postings for responsible roles
- Report on recruitment activities and prepare & review with senior management
- Working in collaboration with the management team to ensure that recruitment initiatives and processes are developed, implemented, communicated, and delivered
- Participate in the assessment of the needs of the business from an organizational effectiveness perspective in support of recruitment initiatives
- Communicate and build strong relationships with the Human Resources team and hiring managers to ensure our recruiting processes and procedures are being followed
- Provide updates and reporting on recruitment strategies and plans
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned not otherwise captured in this position description
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or relevant experience.
- 2 + years of Recruitment experience in a high volume environment.
- Self-starter, ability to think on your own, creative problem solving. Be willing and excited about creating something from nothing.
- Strong Collaboration skills: HR enables the business, not impedes it.
- Systems capabilities: MS Office Suite including advanced Excel skills
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage to deadlines
- Effective communication skills (influential across written, verbal and presentation)
- Strong analytical skill and data analysis capabilities
- Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent prioritization skills
- Willingness to learn and to be involved on various projects
