This is remote (work from home) opportunity for the bright talented instructors who like to share their passion for the STEAM / STEM education with the next generation innovators.
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have valid (issued within last 6 months) or willing to get Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) clearance from local police station.
Job responsibilities & expectations:
- As a passionate instructor, you will conduct online STEAM / STEM education after-school classes for children age 6 to 14 years. The example of courses you will run are: coding, typing, math, science etc.
- Inspirely after-school programs run on Mon-Fri from 4-8 PM, Sat-Sun: 10AM-2 PM EDT. However, you’ve an option to select days and time based on mutual agreement.
- Once we agree on select days and time, minimum availability committment is required up to Dec 31, 2022.
- Weekly committment of 10+ hours required.
- You will be responsible for managing schedule of students assigned to you and interaction with parents for feedback.
- Maintain an inclusive, safe, fun and delightful learning experience for participating youth.
Required Skills:
- Experience with teaching STEAM / STEM topics such as coding, typing, math, science etc.
- Experience with teaching platforms for skills of coding, typing, math, science, engineering projects, 3D animation, app design, AI, AR, machine learning etc.
- Experience and passion for working with children & managing online classroom. Preference will be given to the individuals who has prior experience implementing activities which foster creativity, critical thinking and problem solving attitude in young minds.
- Prior work experience on managing STEAM curriculum & registration process
- Currently enrolled in or completed a post-secondary degree in Education, Science, Engineering or a STEAM related field.
- Prior experience working with STEM / STEAM related organization / institute is desirable.
- Comfortable with the use of electronics, online conferencing tools such as ZOOM Video, computer software, hardware and various other technologies – or willingness to learn new stuff and promoting ideas.

You will create a fun and collaborative learning experience that allows your students’ visions to come to life.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 2 months
Part-time hours: 15 per week
Salary: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evenings
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
- Weekends only
