About the role
We’re looking for a Human Resources Director – Speciality Solutions to join our growing team!
As a Human Resources Director, you will partner with senior business leaders, providing guidance and strategic human resources consulting services related to all HR matters.
You will Work with the North American HR lead, the Canadian HR leads and the business leaders to design the HR strategies needed to help them achieved their business strategic goals.

Being part of a North American (NA) team you will lead an HR team across Canada
Working with the NA HR lead on the Global Specialty Lines hr & business priorities planning & deliverables.
Act as a Senior HR Business partner for the executive business leaders.
Working on National & International initiatives (Ex: Continuation of workday deployment for Canada , Continuation of the RSA & Coast integration)
Designing and deploying National & international initiatives around Talent management, employee engagement, Reward & recognition, performance management, Employee relations, etc.
Assists with Corporate-wide initiatives or special projects as assigned.
Partners with the Talent acquisition team regarding recruitment strategy for assigned clients.
Monitors HR metrics within area of responsibility to identify trends and recommend improvements to ensure alignment with business staffing goals. Partners with HR leadership and staff on design, delivery and process improvement of core HR functions and programs. Keeps abreast of Human Resources and industry trends and makes appropriate recommendations.
Your Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or professional certification.
More than 10 years of human resources experience as a generalist including people management.
Project management knowledge and experience
Change management experience ( Building strategies & initiatives deployment )
Mergers & acquisition experience is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset (French and English)
Must be business-focused with a strong analytical orientation.
Ability to influence others through persuasive speech and writing that is concise, accurate and clear is critical to success.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills at various levels of the organization.
Must be detail-oriented and maintain a high level of accuracy.
Open to travel when required (Canada, USA)
