About the role
We’re looking for a Manager, Property Supply Chain to join our growing team!
Supply Chain is at the heart of our Claims organization and Intact strategy. If you want to make a difference and work on some of the most interesting strategies at Intact this is the role for you!
We are currently seeking a Manager, Property Rely Network and Supply Chain Management, in our National Supply Chain department, who will play a key role in supporting our growth.
LOCATION: Calgary (1200 321- 6th Ave.), Edmonton (700-10830 Jasper Ave.) or Vancouver (999 Hastings St.W)
What you’ll do here:
You will implement and manage strategic projects and vendor performance in constant collaboration with our vendors and internal stakeholders. You will plan the implementation of various programs to continuously improve the functioning of our operations and practices and the management of Quebec building and contents vendors.
Develop a strategic vision in line with Intact’s objectives and our Claims objectives
Analyze key performance indicators to ensure objectives are achieved in an efficient and measurable way.
Maintain the required level of vendor performance through rigorous follow-up and excellent business relationships.
Visit and work closely with networks and partners to create and/or maintain partnerships.
Provide training to network members and support them in achieving their objectives.
Work in close collaboration with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Support the Claims team and Procurement department in their projects and initiatives.
Prepare progress reports on projects to inform the management team and various committees, support proposed recommendations.
Work closely with Procurement on renewing or adding Rely Network vendors, as needed.
Analyze surveys, newsletters and site audits to ensure the quality of network members.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Business Administration or a related field
At least five to eight years of management experience
Extensive experience and knowledge of the construction and restoration industry
Experience and knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry
Clearly demonstrated strategic vision
Ability to embody and demonstrate Intact’s leadership success factors
Good communication skills and the ability to influence others and manage change
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Claims adjuster certificate is an asset
High degree of autonomy
Bilingualism is an asset
Availability for travel
Ability to management of direct employees and their engagement and performance
