To make our exciting projects happen, and while continuing to deliver exceptional service to the industry’s largest customer base in Canada, we are looking to add capable and dedicated individuals to our Quality Assurance team.
About the role
As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will have a big impact on our Commercial Lines business. You will carry out the different activities related to software testing, plans and perform system functional and acceptance tests on strategic system projects or on a regional or national basis with moderate to high complexity. You will work towards improving systems, workflow and profitability through the software testing and analysis based on the project scope, which would involve multiple applications.
This position is a full time permanent opportunity based in Toronto, ON.
Detailed Accountabilities:
Assumes responsibility for preparing and testing software and related documents and provides support during these tests. Prepare test cases, test matrices and reports, as well as any other document required in his/her sector based on Intact standards, processes and procedures.
Provides technical support and guidance to business on system issues.
Identify, log, prioritize, verify and work closely with product owners, developers and scrum master to resolve problems by performing sufficient analysis to determine the root cause of the defects, as required.
Review, analyze and evaluate requirements, in order to prepare test plans and test cases.
Participate in walkthroughs, demos, and estimating.
Work with meticulous accuracy and produce deliverables of exceptional quality.
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Minimum of 3 years experience in manual and/or automation testing
Experience with Agile Methodology
Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to set and manage competing priorities
Flexible to work outside of normal business hours including weekends occasionally
Working knowledge of Word, Excel and Power Point
Knowledge of Jira (asset)
College diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or Equivalent
CIP designation (asset)
French, both written and spoken (asset)

Flexible Work Arrangements
Right now, we support 100% remote work, if your role permits. Once it’s safe to do so, we will move to a hybrid approach which will give everyone the best of both worlds – a mix of home and in-office workdays. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team.
