About the role
We’re looking for a Unit Manager – Talent Acquisition to join our growing team!
As a Unit Manager, you’ll lead a team of skilled and passionate recruitment coordinators who provide technical and administrative support for our day-to-day recruitment processes. Their work includes using tools and technology to post jobs, set up screening tools, prepare offer letters, order background checks, scheduling interviews, and more.
Success and opportunity in this role come in many forms. Beyond day-to-day team management, you’ll also contribute to program rollouts, data analysis, continuous improvement plays, and supporting our upcoming Workday implementation project.
Localisation: All offices in Canada
What you’ll do here:
Manage TA Coordinator team’s delivery and performance; establish KPIs and SLAs
Provide coaching and monitor the team’s overall progress towards targets
Partner with the TA Centre of Excellence to ensure the effective use of process and policy
Monitor/assess Coordinators’ performance metrics to enable strategic decision making
Leverage insights and develop new initiatives to improve TA customer experience
Review and authorize escalated issues and lead coordination of resolving the more complex ones where necessary
Coordinate with the HR Performance & Operational Experience Director to identify key initiatives around optimizing processes and workflows
Collaborate with other HR teams (e.g., Payroll, Benefits & Compensation, etc.) to ensure downstream processes
Identify potential risks related to Workday that could disrupt operations
Be an employer brand ambassador and champion all initiatives to raise Intact Financial Corporation’s profile as a best employer and destination for top talent
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
Minimum 5 years related TA experience; previous management experience is an asset
Experience with both professional and entry level hiring strategies an asset
Effective communication and relationship management
Focus on continuous improvement
Can adapt and be a change management advocate
Analytical – always thinking about how to best measure results and turn metrics into meaningful action

Flexible Work Arrangements
Right now, we support 100% remote work, if your role permits. Once it’s safe to do so, we will move to a hybrid approach which will give everyone the best of both worlds – a mix of home and in-office workdays. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team.
