Integrity is actively recruiting Junior Mold Designers to join our expanding team.
As a Junior Mold Designer, you will be responsible for taking direction/line ups from both the Design Leaders and the Engineering Manager, working with Surfacers, to progress the tool from feasibility through to the final design, using various problem solving tools available, completing scheduled task dates to deliver quality projects on time
This position will report directly to the Design Group Leader.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Questioning line ups as required to fully understand workload objectives
- Consulting/summarizing ALL available information to progress design
- Keeping “Continuous Improvement” in mind in regards to designing tools
- Establishing a “Daily Work Plan” every morning to help keep projects moving forward
- Monitoring personal “Planning Summary” in Shoptalk to keep projects on track
- High attention to detail, implementing 2D geometry to maximize manufacturing capabilities
- Driving/presenting internal design reviews to required ITM personnel
- Replaying any information regarding updates to Surfacers from reviews they did not attend
- Presenting yourself in a competent, professional manner during customer interaction
- Ensure designs meet customer and internal standards
- Check that files being issues to manufacturing are “Complete and Correct”
Required Qualifications:
- Some experience in plastic injection mold design an asset, but not required
- Experience with Cimatron or Siemens NX software an asset
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to follow line-up from leader and learn company procedures
- Good communication and organizational skills
