Intel Looking for Software Test Automation Engineer at Toronto, ON Full Time

In this role, your daily agenda will be anything but ordinary. On a regular basis, you will:

Collaborate with engineers and architects on existing and future capabilities of End to End solutions in in High Performance Networking and Artificial Intelligence networks and workloads.

Engage as a technical expert or trusted technical lead regarding the validation of middleware stack software and full stack recipes for such workloads.

Provides interfaces/integrations with Intel tools and databases to be leveraged in CI pipelines. Identifies automation opportunities for accelerating time to information to make product ship/don’t ship decisions.

Develops and maintains test automation frameworks and solutions used in the development, validation, and/or debug of software products.

Design, develop (code), and maintain a suite of test cases focusing on Intel’s products and software covering multiple components such as Intel MPI, Intel Ethernet software and NICs, and Intel-based Ethernet switches. Additionally, execute test cases for 3rd-Party Software and Hardware to further customer support.

Participate in future planning activities ensuring adequate resources to fulfill validation requirements supporting Intel’s roadmap.

Communicate to multiple levels of management the multiple validation activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field of study

2+ years working in Linux environments such as Red Hat Linux (RHEL), SUSE Linux (SLES) and/or Debian

2+ years programming experience in Python, with at least 1+ year applicable to validation

1+ years programming experience in other scripting language such as BASH, Perl

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Mater’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related field of study

Programming experience in C/C++

Professional experience in cluster infrastructure or distributed computing including specification, deployment, verification and debug.

Professional experience working with network stacks and protocols such as TCP/IP, Verbs/RDMA, InfiniBand

Professional experience working with High Performance Computing systems

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:

$113,500.00-$170,120.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
