We are seeking reliable and motivated Medical Lab Assistant for a relief full-time opportunity at the Boundary Hospital, in the friendly community of Grand Forks. This position may be required to collect samples from satellite laboratories at nearby sites such as Greenwood and Midway therefore a valid BC Drivers Licence is required.
Shift times are Monday to Friday 06:30 to 14:30, 07:00 to 15:00 and 07:30 to 15:30.

About The Job
MLA’s perform a variety of duties such as taking blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, performing routine lab tests, distributing specimens to departments and outside Labs, operating related equipment, entering data into the LIS and performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required.

Boundary Hospital is a 12-bed community hospital where a large team of healthcare professionals facilitate a range of interdisciplinary health services including 24/7 Emergency, medical and surgical services, community health programming as well as Laboratory and X-Ray.
