We have two exciting opportunities for a Workforce Planning Consultant to join our team at Interior Health!
About the role:
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization and reporting to the Manager, Workforce Management Human Resources, the Workforce Planning Consultant is responsible for analyzing and collecting health human resource data to project future workforce demand and supply. Working within the Interior Health (IH) Planning Framework, the Consultant is responsible for recognizing current and future workforce trends, providing workforce decision support, informing retention and recruitment strategies, identifying innovative staffing practices, and identifying opportunities for improvements in service efficiencies. The Consultant defines report requirements to support department, portfolio, and IH-wide human resource planning activities. In addition, the Consultant recommends tactics to improve internal and external processes to continually optimize the allocation of health human resources and refine staff work processes that enhance high-quality, safe, and effective patient care.
This position can be located anywhere within our health service region.
