Reporting to the Manager, Capital Finance and Treasury, the Analyst is responsible for analyzing capital projects and capital equipment for reporting purposes. The Analyst liaises with Project Managers and others to monitor and implement changes in cash flow. Conducts special Capital Finance related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to completion of third level CGA, CMA or CA accounting courses leading to a professional accounting designation, and a minimum of 3 years’ related experience including experience in healthcare program, written reports and presentations, and customer-focused services.
Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Knowledge of computerized accounting systems and procedures.
Knowledge of computer modelling applications and principles.
Knowledge of statistical analysis.
Excellent oral/written and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with customers.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively within a team environment.
Demonstrated judgment, analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines and work independently.
Computer proficiency using a PC and office suite of software applications.
Use of a personal vehicle to facilitate travel within a multi-site organization.
