Reporting to Clinical Coordinator, Nutrition Therapy Services, provides support for VIHA Nutrition Services staff. Utilizes nutrition knowledge and current food and nutrition information system as well as a variety of computerized applications to prepare technical and non technical documents, to assist with nutrition projects by performing nutritional analysis of food records and recipes and to ensure nutrition and diet standards are met.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
Graduation from a recognized two year program in Food Service Supervision plus one year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills And Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to operate related equipment.
Ability to deal effectively with others.
Ability to organize work.
Ability to type 30 wpm.
Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
