The Onboarding Consultant is an integral part of the Talent Acquisition team, and leads the development of the onboarding and orientation programs. As the program owner and primary subject matter expert, the Onboarding Consultant regularly interfaces with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, and implements strategies to improve the experience of new employees.
Under the support, guidance and direction of the Manager, the key functions of the position include developing, implementing and managing the Onboarding and Orientation Program.
A level of education, training and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, project management, or other related discipline, minimum of seven (7) years of responsible experience in talent acquisition-including a combination of strategic and operational business planning; working with corporate performance measures and budgets; business case development; experience dealing with third party vendors to collaborate on the development of an organization-wide HR program is required; experience building and implementing a program or initiative; project management for an organization-wide project (onboarding, recruiting, benefits, learning, performance management, etc) is required.
