Under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator of Social Work or designate, responsible for planning, developing and implementing services to meet the emotional and social needs for an assigned group of residents and their families. Consults with the Long-Term Care Manager about site-specific issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Training And Experience
B.S.W. or recognized equivalent from an accredited school of Social Work. Current full registration with the BC College of Social Workers . Social work experience in an extended care or geriatric setting preferred.
The Social Worker adheres to the BC Board of Registration for Social Workers code of Ethics and the Canadian Association of Social Workers Standards of Practice.
