ISP Solar Looking for Interior Designer at Montreal, Quebec, Canada Full Time

Innovative Solar Power (ISP Solar) is a Canadian tech company founded by a group of renowned Canadian inventors and social entrepreneurs. ISP is dedicated to delivering power and heat at the most economical prices. Currently ISP Solar has an opening for the position of Interior Designer

The successful candidate will have a passion for design, who will help us plan new projects from concept to execution.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Performs interior design activities including needs analysis, programming, work process analysis, stacking, blocking, finishes selection, design options, estimating, sample boards, specification writing, tender drawing creation, renderings, contractor management, deficiency identification and problem solving,
• Renders design ideas in the from of 3-D renderings, sketches, plans, models and schemes using computer aided design (CAD)software in response to client needs.
• Prepares working drawings, and construction documentation to meet all building codes within applicable jurisdiction.
• Develops and prepares material cost estimates, project specifications, and requirements tender documents, schedules, and staffing plans to complete projects.
• Prepares technical documentation (e.g. user guides, technical specifications).

Requirements:

• B.Interior Design/Architecture of Interiors, Diploma in Interior Design
• Experience working with REVIT, AutoCAD or SketchUp
• Ability to develop 3D models and rendering using sketchup, AutoCAD 3D or other.
• Experience in Canada is an asset

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
• 3ds Max: 1 year (preferred)
