Reporting to the Director, Marketing and Business Development, you will be in charge of implementing strategies and programs to oversee internal and external partners’ efforts with regard to positioning the Ivanhoé Cambridge brand worldwide. Your main duties in this position are as follows:
Implement the retail marketing strategy and monitor the brand portfolio (properties, projects, products), from inception to quality control;
Evaluate and put forward innovative, creative ideas designed to showcase the various manifestations of the Ivanhoé Cambridge brand;
See to the development and setup of plans and campaigns to position, promote and protect the brand on a portfolio-wide basis;
Help develop guidelines for marketing strategies aimed at internal and external partners; help provide guidance, tools and training for their marketing initiatives;
Develop and maintain relationships with investment partners;
Identify and drive cross-disciplinary initiatives to support designated strategic objectives;
Help align initiatives of the property marketing teams when new projects arise;
Provide support to leasing and asset management teams throughout the asset life cycle, including pre-marketing and marketing;
Assist project teams in fleshing out their marketing plans;
Assist project teams in planning key dates in their timelines (ground-breaking, unveiling, etc.);
Work with various in-house teams to meet miscellaneous marketing needs as they arise;
Attend tender interviews to help select portfolio marketing agencies;
Serve as the primary marketing contact during meetings with partners and agencies, including prep sessions, marketing discovery, presentations of options, etc.);
Serve as a central point person for internal and external teams to ensure consistency and continuous improvement;
Monitor marketing deliverables in connection with active development projects;
Serve as the primary contact for industry events (conferences, launches, etc.);
Keep tabs on new market and industry trends by conducting the required research;
Carry out all other marketing- and business development–related tasks as requested by the immediate supervisor.
The key to success !
Undergraduate degree in marketing or a related field;
Eight or more years of relevant experience in marketing and strategic brand management;
Solid understanding of marketing principles and issues;
Excellent oral communication and writing skills, in French and English (will contribute to international projects with partners based in the U.S. and elsewhere);
Proactive, dynamic and creative approach to generating innovative ideas and solving problems;
Analytical, results-driven and imaginative;
Excellent communication skills when interacting with people at all levels of the organization;
Excellent organizational, planning, multitasking and deadline management skills;
Strong team spirit and ability to thrive in a collaborative atmosphere.
