Property Administrator
This position is a dynamic support role for all aspects of our brokerage including management, finance, maintenance, leasing agents, contractors, vendors, clients and tenants
Responsibilities
Communicate across the organization and with all stakeholders providing administrative support and general office duties.
· Communicate with Tenants to arrange access for inspections & maintenance, follow-up on late payments and other Tenant communications.
· Ensure office operations function professionally and efficiently.
· Coordinate with staff and clients to resolve problems.
· Input data and upload documentation into Buildium platform and back-up database.
· Prepare draft lease packages for the agents.
· Create, update and maintain all client, property, vendor and Tenant documents in Buildium and the back-up database.
· Some out of office activities may be required.
· Social media marketing
· High degree of professionalism.
Requirements and skills
· Proven bookkeeping experience.
· Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
· Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
· Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software. Experience with Buildium or a similar program would be considered an asset.
· Proficiency in English and in MS Office
· Customer service orientated and negotiation skills
· High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Experience in a growth company would be preferred.
· Candidate must be prepared to assist with other duties in a small office environment.
· Degree or certificate in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (would be considered an asset)
· Experience in property management is an asset.
