The Equipment Coordinator is a dynamic role which ensures repairs and preventative maintenance are completed efficiently and meet regulatory requirements. This role works directly with the shop manager to build and project maintenance schedules. Efficient and friendly service is required when dealing with internal and external customers. A high degree of organization is essential.
Verifying and updating the maintenance schedule daily to reflect current and projected maintenance repairs.
Receiving repair requests, tracking and communicating repairs to shop manager.
Scheduling preventative maintenance in sync with operators work schedules.
Provide a high level of customer service to operators ensuring all requests are being met and communicated effectively.
Tracking equipment location for a fleet of 100 trailers and 25 trucks in multipule operational locations.
Arranging PVIKS; Coordinate with operators to ensure equipment is in the yard for inspection.
Communication with dispatch on delays to equipment start times
Experience with excel
The ability to communicate effectively with many different personalities
Knowledge of Alberta Transportation requirements considered an asset
Knowledge of mechanical shops considered an asset
