JANA is looking to add a Technical Program Manager to our software development team. As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll work closely with software leadership, product management and developers to drive predictable execution. Through collaboration and coaching, you help the team achieve success and are on the constant lookout for ways to improve and scale our processes. You have experience developing and adopting process but also understand the trade offs of scalability and efficiency as well as overall team health.

Technical Leadership
Lead coordination and planning for cross functional product development teams to ensure overall plan and execution are met
Conduct project planning and strategy with multiple teams
Work with product and software teams to contribute to planning, estimations, roadmaps, and execution
Interface with teams throughout the organization to identify cross team dependencies as well as promote transparent lines of communications to align stakeholders
Establish a level of standard for process and continually drive improvements that promote a high level of quality and execution velocity
Manage key software product releases at regular cadences in accordance with customer needs
Technical Qualifications
Required
5+ years of program/project management experience driving product software development initiatives through full software development lifecycle
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
Strong ability to understand and manage scope and communicate it effectively to an audience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a willingness to exhibit empathy with a track record of successfully delivering projects
Strategic thinking with an ability to anticipate risks and mitigate accordingly
Preferred
Experience working and integrating with GIS systems such as ESRI ArcGIS
While we value experience more, Project management, Process improvement or Quality certifications help
Computer science or technical degree
Experience in a hyper growth organization, working cross-functionally with teams to deliver enterprise software.
