Jardeg Construction is currently seeking Electrician Journeypersons to join the Imperial Oil project team on site near Cold Lake, Alberta on a 10 / 4 shift with 10 hours a day schedule. 8Hours RT and 2 hours OT. Eligible candidate will receive Travel allowance and LOA. Tentative Start Date Feb 28, 2023.
Electricians install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures and premises.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to take directions, and receptive to training and mentoring;
- Identify and able to proficiently install almost all material components;
- Conduit skills;
- Circuitry planning and installations;
- Read and comprehend drawings and specifications;

- Tool usage, both personal (personal tools minimum listed below) and supplied;
- Tool pouch

- Size, plan and install electrical services;
- Multiple types of installations;
- Adhering to safe work practices and procedures
- Hazardous location requirements;
- Ensure exceptional workmanship from all direct reports;
- Multi-meter, Meggar, Phase Rotation meter and AMP-Meter usage;
- ARC Flash awareness;
Requirements:
- Construction Safety Training Systems (2020) Certification
- WHMIS 2015
- Emergency First Aid
- H2s Alive
- Driver’s License and a clean 3 Year Driver’s Abstract
