Jardeg is currently recruiting for skilled labourers to join the team which is constructing a bypass bridge in Leduc, AB!
The project will consist of a new overpass over the QEII Highway; new on-off ramps from the QEII Highway; improvements to some existing ramps; intersection improvements at 65 Avenue and 50 Street in Leduc; and, completion of Perimeter Road and 65 Avenue, west of the QEII Highway.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Traffic control (cleaning delineation, set up delineation, flagging)
- General site cleanup, and housekeeping
- Assisting with concrete formwork, stripping formwork
- Organize equipment and supplies.
- Review work area for damages
- Handle power tools and use in a safe manner
- Identify and report hazardous or unsafe areas.
- Remove snow from work areas.
- Install safety fences, and railings
- Assist with other duties as required
- Follow directions
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the construction industry
- Ability to bend, stretch, lift, push, pull and carry
- Drivers License, along with CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and ESC Fall Protection Certificates
- Capable of learning through on the job training
- Reliable transportation
